If you are the owner of an online service or an online store, then your resource must meet the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On Electronic Commerce”.
This law provides that the following information must be posted on the website of the online store:
- full name of the legal entity or surname, first name, patronymic of the individual entrepreneur;
- address of the enterprise or place of registration and place of actual residence of the sole proprietorship;
- Email address identification code for a legal entity or individual entrepreneur;
- if the activity involves obtaining a license, it is necessary to indicate information about such a license, in particular, series, number, validity period and date of issue;
- the procedure for forming the final cost of the goods regarding the inclusion (non-inclusion) of certain taxes in the cost of the goods;

Recently, the Main Department of the State Food and Consumer Service in Kyiv monitored well-known resources: Citrus, City.com, 27.ua, Repka, Prom.ua, TeleMart and Mobilak. During the inspections on some resources, violations were revealed, the most common of which are: lack of identification of sellers; failure to provide the consumer with accessible, complete, reliable and timely information about goods, works and services.
It will also be appropriate to remind that if the online store sells food products, agricultural products, dietary supplements, food additives, then the market operator must register its enterprises
in the state register.
